Every time you purchase a piece of art from Just Jinx a whopping $5 dollars will go to the Living Arts Corporation.
A US 501 (c)(3) charitable organization registered as The Mode Theatre Living Arts Corporation, DBA Living Arts Corporation.
In everything we do, we try to connect. The arts help shape personal and global culture. They provide clues to tackle challenges and engage in improving the state of the world, whether in a small neighborhood or on a grand scale. We trust in the potential of experience to elicit more empathy, birth new ideas, shift our perceptions, and lead to action. We understand that the role of art is to make discomfort more comfortable.
In 1994, we began our mission to create art and performance and use it to assist others, whether they are marginalized families or other artists struggling to do their work.
In May of 2019, we came to Cambodia to listen and learn how we may serve emerging arts, organizations, and communities. We launched an online magazine to cover Cambodia’s contemporary art and culture scene called Magical Cambodia – a cultural rebirth.
We believe in the innate human desire to give. 100% of our proceeds go directly into our projects. We do our work without fanfare and with the knowledge that life obliges us to connect and provide personal attention. We commit to small acts that may encourage others and believe in the inherent generosity of humans.
Since 1994, the Living Arts Corporation has accomplished the following:
- Produced 50 original theatrical performances and hosted 50 art exhibitions
- Performed in over 500 schools around the nation
- Distributed 10,000 + books to rural children
- Supplied living and studio space to 15 visual artists
- Entertained the public with 24 ft. puppets commissioned from Carnival artists in Trinidad, West Indies
- Delivered over $700,000 of home goods to marginalized families, veterans and people in crisis
- Created the Soul Shoe Project to draw attention to the fact that a child dies from violence every five minutes
- In 2019 we began the website Magical Cambodia – a cultural rebirth to share the stories of Khmer contemporary arts and culture.

If you shop on Amazon, please use Amazon Smile. A portion of every eligible purchase you make through AmazonSmile is donated to the nonprofit organization of your choice. Although the donated percentage is small (0.5%), every little bit adds up. Over the years, we have collected enough to purchase international flights for artists in need so they could exhibit their works and conduct workshops.
